Dom English

Dominic English is a writer/producer who started his TV career way back in 1994 on “The Big Breakfast”.

For the first part of his TV career Dom mainly worked as producer writing material and scripts for many of the shows he was producing. As a series producer and script editor for “The 11 O’Clock Show” on Channel 4, he was instrumental in launching the careers of Ricky Gervais, Sasha Baron Cohen and Mackenzie Crook. Dom went on to produce and and executive produce shows such as “Fear Factor”, “8 Out of 10 Cats”, “Argumental”, “Fame Academy” and “Big Brother’s Big Mouth”.

In 2001 Dom wrote the sitcom “Pay and Display” which aired on ITV 1.

Since 2008 Dom has concentrated on gag writing, mainly for Jimmy Carr’s TV projects, but also for many headline comedians including Katherine Ryan, Mickey Flanagan, Jack Whitehall and Lee Mack. Plus he has written countless hours of voice over scripts for dodgy reality shows and low rent internet clip shows.
