Aiden Spackman
BAFTA nominee, Aiden, is one of Britain’s most popular, prolific and versatile writers with a wealth of experience working on a wide range of different comedy and entertainment shows, stand-up, sitcom and film.
Having started out in production before specialising into writing, Aiden also brings a level of creativity, ideas and problem solving that can be invaluable. He even helped develop both “8 Out of 10 Cats” and “Would I Lie To You?” from runthrough stage to series.
In narrative writing, his credits include Sky Comedy Short “Hands of God” with Alex Brooker (click here to watch) and on sitcoms including; “Bad Education”, “Crims”, “Murder in Successville” and “Man Like Mobeen”. He’s had scripts commissioned by BBC and Channel 4 with talent such as Romesh Ranganathan, Alex Brooker, Steve Jones and John Bishop. In film, Aiden has worked on Gary Marshall’s “Mother’s Day” and Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Grimsby”.
Aiden’s comedy and entertainment work includes “The Last Leg”, “A League of their Own”, “The Ranganation”, “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order”, “Travels with my Father”, “8 Out of 10 Cats”, “Frankie Boyle’s Tour of Scotland”, “Celebability”, “Roast Battle”, “The Brit Awards”, “The Masked Singer”, “There’s Something About Movies”, “MTV EMAs” , “Saturday Night Takeaway” and “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”. He is regularly asked to write for performers like James Corden, Alex Brooker, Tom Allen, Frankie Boyle, Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Sarah Millican, Aisling Bea, Roisin Conaty, Jack Whitehall, Katherine Ryan, John Bishop, Tom Lucy, Jamie Redknapp and Kevin Bridges.
