Ben Rufus Green is an actor, writer and comedian.

Ben’s most prominent role has been playing ‘David Cockfield’ in two series of UKTV’s “The Cockfields” - written by Joe Wilkinson and David Earl. Previous credits include “Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle”, “Gameface”, “Eastenders”, “Not Going Out” and “Sherlock”.

Most recently he can be seen in the feature film “Seize Them!”, season finale of S3 of “Trying” and in BBC’s “Mandy” and brand new sitcom “Dinosaur”.

He wrote an award winning, minute long, short film, “Paper Trail“, that was nominated for Best Online Comedy at the 2020 Writers Guild of Great Britain. The film has won several other awards. He has also had a sitcom optioned by Princess Productions.

Ben has built up his YouTube channel with sketches he’s written and his work is regularly featured on The British Comedy Guide.

And this Channel 4 sketch about hibernating for winter came out just before Christmas. It's racking up the hits on the socials and has had over half a million views.

Ben has extensive training in the comedy world having trained with Second City, Monkey Toast and The Free Association! He is also, literally, a trained clown!
