Charlie Partridge

Charlie is an actor, comedian and cabaret performer based in Margate. As a host, he has performed to hundreds of thousands of people from New York and LA to Paris and London. He has toured shows with The New Scientist and hosted “The Moth Live” (one of the most downloaded podcasts in the world). He has written for Radio 4, The Sunday Times and performed on BBC3, Radio 6 Music, Radio 4 Extra and BBC2 working with artists such as Jarvis Cocker, Kelis, Martha Reeves, Gavin Turk and Peter Blake. He also once hosted a fashion show for dogs.

Most recently he featured in “Still Up” and BBC’s legendary “Doctors” and will soon be seen as ‘Sidney’ in “Changing Ends”.

In 2018, he performed his first Solo Hour at Edinburgh “I Can Make you Feel Good by Comparison”.

He hosted and co-produced game show “Rebel Bingo” from its inception in a church hall in Islington to accidentally taking over the world with shows in NY, LA, Vegas, Beijing and Rio and a TV pilot for Sky. He has created and presented large scale, immersive game shows for 100s of festivals including, Glastonbury, Bestival, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness, Tea In The Park, The Isle of White festival and many more. He has written immersive shows for The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Roald Dahl Estate, Penguin Books and directed the world’s first virtual reality immersive theatre show “Virtually Dead” which sold out its two month long London and Paris runs.
