Matt Dyson is the co-presenter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio.  Over 2.2 million people across the UK tune in to the show every week.  He also presents Rock n Roll Football on Saturday afternoons, where he’s worked with Rob Beckett, Ian Wright and Matt Forde over the past few years.

As a Fantasy Football addict, Matt also presents a weekly podcast called ‘Gameweek’ with his Absolute Radio colleague, Dan Prior.

Before moving to London, Matt worked for 5 years in his native Nottingham at 106 Century FM where he got to interview his all-time hero, the late great Brian Clough.  During that time, he was also the match day announcer and DJ at the City Ground, the home of his beloved Nottingham Forest.

As a radio journalist at Xfm, Matt covered many a red-carpet at the Mercury Prize, Q Awards and NME Awards and interviewed some big names in music and film – from Sir Paul McCartney to Liam Neeson. He’s also broadcast from festivals across Europe, such as Ibiza Rocks, Benicassim and Snow Bombing.

During his time at Xfm he also read the news on Breakfast Shows with the likes of Lauren Laverne, Alex Zane, Shaun Keaveny, Danny Wallace and Jon Holmes.

Outside of work, Matt is a married father of three living in rural Northamptonshire.  He’s also an occasional indie disco DJ and event host.
