Shaun Pye
Shaun wrote the BAFTA-winning, EMMY-nominated comedy “There She Goes” (BBC2) starring David Tennant, co-wrote the award winning cult animated sketch show “Monkey Dust” (BBC3), the award-winning comedy-drama “A Young Doctor’s Notebook” (Sky) starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Hamm, the award-winning sitcom “Jerk” (BBC3), the sitcom “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” (Netflix), the sitcom “Respectable” (Channel 5) and one-off episodes of “Bad Education” (BBC3), “The Reluctant Landlord” (Sky) and “Avoidance” (BBC1). He also co-wrote the feature film “The Rack Pack” (BBC).
Shaun is one of the main writers for BAFTA-winning shows “Have I Got News For You” and “A League of Their Own” and over twenty years has written for countless entertainment shows including; “Friday Night With Jonathan Ross”, “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order”, “Nevermind The Buzzcocks”, “Would I Lie to You?”, “8 Out of 10 Cats”, “Mock the Week”, “They Think It’s All Over”, “Cats Does Countdown” and “you Have Been Watching”.
Shaun has written many years’ worth of awards shows (Film and TV BAFTAs, The British Comedy Awards), stand-up for many of Britain’s leading comics (Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Lee Mack, Jack Whitehall, Romesh Ranganathan) and worked with Sacha Baron Cohen on the films “Borat: Subsequent Movie Film”, “Bruno” and “Grimsby”.
